With the increasing competition in the EV SUV segment Mahindra has finally released the prices and variants of their new BE 6 and Xev 9e electric Suv’s. The manufacturers have devised a clever demarcating scheme that would allow the consumer easily choose between the variants that suit their needs.
The Mahindra Be 6
The Be 6 comes in three variants namely being the Pack 1, pack 2 and pack 3. The pack one has a base spec price of around 18.9 Lakhs. This would be the starting price of the Be6 range. Beyond that the Pack Two-59 KWH has an ex showroom price of around 20.40 lakh, and a drivable range of 556km . In the same variant customers can also opt for a 79 KWH variant that would cost around 21.90 lakh Rs. The last variant would be the pack 3 the 79 KWH variant that would have all the features and would be capable of a range of around 682km . This variant has the price tag of around 26.9 lakh Rs.

Mahindra Xev9e Price and Variants
This variant has been demarcated similarly as that of the BE 6. The 79 KWH battery pack would only be available from the pack two. The base spec of the XEV 9e would have a battery pack of around 59 KWH only that would be priced around 21.9 lakh Rs. The pack 2 with the 59 kwh battery pack would be priced around 23.40 lakh Rs, while the 79 KWH battery pack would be priced around Rs 24.90 lakh Rs. Beyond that the top of the line Pack 3 would cost your around 24.90 for the 59 KWH pack and around 30.50 lakh Rs for the top of the line 79 KWH battery pack.

Where And How To Book Your BE6 And Xev 9e
As per Mahindra , they would start accepting the bookings for the Top Sec 79Kwh pack variants from Feb 14 2025. The bookings of the remaining variants are expected to be launched by march.
Interested customers would soon be able to easily test drive the vehicle. Mahindra would allow the users to test drive the vehicle in a staggered manner. customers from metropolitan tier one cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad would be able to test drive the vehicle first as they fall in the phase of test drive scheme. Further in the second phase customers from cities such as Ahmedabad, Cochin, Bhopal, Coimbatore, Goa, Howrah, Indore and Kolkata would be able to enjoy test drives, and would be able to experience the vehicle. Then Mahindra would then commence the test drives of its vehicles in the last leg of its phase 3.
The Importance Of INGLO Platform
Both the vehicles the Be6 as well as the XEV9e are based on Mahindra’s indigenously designed and developed INGLO platform and offer two battery packs from 59 KWH and 79 KWH. Mahindra has seemingly sourced their electric motor on the rear axle. This motor churns out a peak torque figure of around 380nm. So if you have been seeking a EV car you would soon be able to test drive the BE 6 or XEV9e.
