New Delhi: The Kia Seltos facelift is expected to be launched in India on July 4, 2023. Although official bookings have not yet started, some select Kia dealerships have already begun pre-bookings with an initial amount of ₹25,000. The prices are likely to be announced at the end of July. Several details about the car have already emerged through spy images.

Design of the 2023 Kia Seltos:
The new model will feature a larger grille, updated front bumper, and redesigned headlamps with DRLs. The “Ice Cube” LED fog lamp assembly has been positioned lower. It comes with new design alloy wheels on the sides. The rear end has updated bumpers and taillamps. The GT-Line trim gets sporty red inserts on the front and rear bumpers, along with dual exhaust tips.

Features:
The new Seltos will come equipped with an advanced driver assistance system that includes 16 active features such as adaptive cruise control, front collision mitigation system, blind-spot collision system, and other features. It will also feature a panoramic sunroof and dual-zone climate control. The instrument cluster and infotainment system will receive updates as well.

Engine Options:
The new Seltos will be offered with three engine options: a 1.5L petrol (115bhp/144Nm), a 1.5L T-GDi petrol (160bhp/253Nm), and a 1.5L CRDi VGT diesel (116bhp/250Nm). It will be available with a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, a 6-speed iMT, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Price:
The price of the Seltos facelift version is expected to be around the current model’s range, which currently starts from ₹10.89 lakh and goes up to ₹19.65 lakh (ex-showroom price).

Competition:
The car will compete with the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. The Creta offers both diesel and petrol engine options.
