New Delhi: Two-wheeler manufacturer Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced its most popular models Jawa 42 Sports Strip and Yezdi Roadster in new color options. In which Jawa 42 has been introduced in Galactic Matt Green, Halley Matt Teal, Lumos Lime, Starlight Matt Blue, Glossy Comet Red, Glossy Nebula Blue, Black, Sirius White, Orion Red and Allstar. The ex-showroom price of Jawa 42 Cosmic Carbon is Rs 1,95,142. The Yezdi Roadster, on the other hand, has been brought in a bright crimson dual tone. In addition, the Yezdi Roadster is now available in 6 paint schemes namely Smoke Grey, Sin Silver, Hunter Green, Galliant Gray and Steel Blue. The ex-showroom price of Yezdi Roadster Crimson Dual Tone is Rs 2,03,829.
Jawa 42 Sports Stripe Engine
Jawa 42 Sports Stripe has a 293cc liquid cooled, single cylinder, fuel injected engine. This engine generates 27 hp power at 6,800 rpm and 27.03 Nm torque at 5,000 rpm. It gets 6 speed transmission gearbox. The bike comes with disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear with anti-locking braking system.

Yezdi Roadster Engine
Yezdi Roadster gets 334cc, fuel injected, liquid cooled, DOHC single cylinder engine. This engine generates power of 29.7 hp at 7,300 rpm and torque of 28.95 newton meters at 6,500 rpm. This bike gets 6 speed transmission and continental dual channel anti lock braking system. To improve the braking system, it has also been given an A&S clutch. This bike competes with Royal Enfield Classic 350, Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and Honda H’ness CB 350 in the market.
Jawa Yezdi 2023 Plans
In the coming year, many more products from Jawa and Yezdi will enter the market. Along with this, the company has made a plan to increase its network across the country. With around 400 touchpoints in India at present, the company will have 500 outlets across the country by December 2023.

Yezdi Roadster competes with Royal Enfield Classic 350
Royal Enfield Classic 350 is available in India at a starting price of Rs.1,90,229 and it gives tough competition to the Yezdi Roadster. This bike is available in 6 variants and 15 colours. A 349cc BS6 engine is available in this bike, which generates power of 20.2 bhp and torque of 27 Nm. It gets anti-locking braking system with disc brake at both front and rear.
