Maruti eVX: With the increasing demand for electric vehicles (EVs), Maruti Suzuki has introduced a cost-effective luxury electric car. The Maruti eVX boasts an impressive driving range of 550 km on a single charge, a feature comparable to the pricier Mercedes-Benz EQE electric SUV, which retails at Rs 1.39 crore ex-showroom. Maruti Suzuki aims to offer the eVX at a competitive starting price of Rs 25 lakh ex-showroom.
The SUV-style car, measuring 4300 mm in length, promises a smooth ride, especially on challenging terrains. The vehicle is anticipated to house a 60 kWh battery pack, and customers can opt for alloy wheels with a larger tire size. Although the delivery details are yet to be disclosed, recent sightings during testing in Gurugram and Poland suggest a potential launch in India by 2025.
Loaded with Advanced Features
Maruti eVX is set to be a luxury car equipped with advanced features such as a digital display, speedometer, touchscreen system, airbags in the front cabin, and a spacious boot. While the powertrain details remain undisclosed, the car is expected to compete with the Tata Nexon Electric in the market. Potential buyers can anticipate features like power steering, power windows, auto AC, and an appealing height of 1600 mm.
Futuristic Design and Safety Features
The interior of the car showcases a futuristic design, featuring a charging socket conveniently placed in the front. Boasting heavy suspension, large tire size, and prominent headlights, the Maruti eVX offers a sleek steering reminiscent of sports cars. The front is adorned with a black grill, and safety features include an anti-lock braking system, USB charger, 4-wheel drive, hill hold assist, LED DRL, and reverse parking sensors.
As Maruti Suzuki continues to delve into the electric vehicle market, the eVX aims to provide an affordable yet feature-packed option for environmentally conscious consumers.
