New Delhi: Hyundai is looking forward to introduce a new micro SUV in the Indian market. Its codename is Hyundai Ai3. The car’s production can begin in July. At the same time, its sale can start in August this year.

The company has come up the official teaser of Hyundai Ai3. It will be the company’s smallest and cheapest SUV in India. Once launched, it will compete with Tata Punch and Maruti Fronx, which is yet to be launched.

Hyundai Ai3 Design

The new Hyundai SUV is all set to be built on the K1 platform like the Grand i10 Nios. At the same time, its design can be like Hyundai Casper (Casper), which is sold in the global market. The new car will get split headlamps, H pattern LED DRL and round fog lamps.

Steel wheels will be given in the lower variants of the SUV and alloy wheels will be given in the top variants. Apart from this, angular taillamps can be given in this mini SUV. Its length can be about 3.8 meters.

Features of Hyundai Ai3

There is no revealed information about the interior of the new Hyundai car. The micro SUV is can get a touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Along with this, semi-digital instrument cluster, sunroof, connected car technology, automatic climate control and AC vents for rear passengers can be given in the car.

Hyundai Ai3 Engine

The Hyundai Ai3 can be given a 1.2 liter petrol engine. The same engine is also found in the Grand i10 Nios hatchback. This engine can generate 83bhp power and 113.8Nm peak torque. With this, both manual and automatic gearbox options will be available.
