The Electric EV two wheelers are being considered to be the key to overall substantial shift towards EV mobility. Witnessing the opportunity Honda have launched their new Activa-E and QC1 electric EV models that would help the brand gain a grasp of the national EV sphere. Beyond just Scooters Honda has been planning to launch a completely new EV charging and Battery swapping outlet matrix that would help the brand take range anxiety away. Although these outlets have not been established yet. The first batch of the Activa have been spotted being delivered to dealers.
Honda Activa-E and Qc1
Honda has been planning to launch two variants, Activa – E with a removable dual battery pack and the QC1would have a fixed single battery. The Activa-E is is expected to be positioned as a more premium offering, featuring a dual removable battery of 1.5 KWh battery each. The Powertrain would offer 8.1 PS of peak power, a certified range 102 km as per Honda.

Beyond the Activa-E the QC-1 would be the go to choice for many who are seeking an affordable 1.5 KWH battery pack. The setup on the Q-1 would help the bike get a range of 80km. A key highlight of the infrastructure that Honda is planning to establish would be the battery service station where you can replace the battery for longer range.
The first batch of the scooters are being delivered to the dealerships, Honda has been planning to do a phased roll out of the EV across different metropolitan cities. This would lead to a gradual establishment of battery swapping stations in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru soon.
