Royal Enfield, KTM and TVS are all planning their next slew of adventure bikes that would cater to a wide range of Enthusiasts in the market. Beyond them all, Hero has made a surprise re-entry with their new Xpulse 210 Race Prototype.

Rally Bike
If the normal off-roading bikes are not enough for your adventure escapades the new Xpulse 210 adventure would surely be. Although Hero has not revealed what the price of the new bike would be, if the bike is launched under the 2 lakh ballpark figure it would gain a formidable place in the segment. This bike might soon follow the launch of the Xpulse 210. Beyond the other additions such as a new extended travel adjustable suspension and new grippier tires, the bike has further been given changes that would facilitate improved off-roading capabilities like an upswept exhaust. The bike would further get RSU telescopic forks at front.
Powertrain
Hero has not revealed any details about the powertrain of the bike. The Hero Xpulse 210 would be powered by a 210cc single-cylinder liquid cooled DOHC 4v /cylinder. This engine is capable of churning out 25 PS of power and a peak torque of 20.7 nm. The bike would be mated to a slipper clutch and a 6 speed gearbox as well.
In the recent past Royal Enfield had also showcased a rally oriented version of the Himalayan. The Bike had very meagre accessories and as per the appearance has been specifically designed for off-roading. Royal Enfield has not given the bike a moniker, but enthusiasts have been calling it the Himalayan Rally. If both the bikes are launched its possible that they would compete against each other but the power out put of the Xpulse would fall shorter than that of the Himalayan 650.
