Citroen C3 Aircross: The French car manufacturer Citroen India revealed the launch date of the new Citroen C3 Aircross. The booking for this amazing mid-size SUV will open in September and the delivery will take place in October.
The company is offering four models in the country– C3, E-C3, C3 Aircross and C5 Aircross. Its C3 variant will be developed locally with over 90% localisation. It will be manufactured at the Thiruvallur plant in Tamil Nadu.
Luxury display
This car offers a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. The SUV has a 10-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and a seven-inch digital driver’s display. Luxury car features have been provided and utmost care has been taken for the safety of the passengers. Steering-mounted audio controls and manual AC are available in this SUV.
Life-saving features
The Citroen C3 Aircross has 6 airbags, a stability control system, and a rearview camera with parking sensors for safety. ABS (anti-lock braking system) with hill hold assist, tire pressure monitoring system and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) are also enhanced the safety of this car.
This SUV will generate 110 bhp power and 190 Nm torque on the road. It is a 5-seater car. The 7-seater version, on the other hand, will get roof-mounted AC vents for the second and third-row occupants along with blower controls. Citroen C3 Aircross will give a mileage of 18.5kmpl.
Massive luggage capacity
The Citroen C3 Aircross offers 444-litres boot space. Its 7-seater model has a bigger boot space of 511 litres. This car will compete with cars like Toyota Hyrider, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Hyundai Creta.

USB charging port will be available for the passengers of the third row in this SUV. The company has already announced the launch date of this car. It is expected that this car will be available at an initial price of Rs 9 lakh ex-showroom.

The car has nearly 4.3 meters in length and the ground clearance is 200 mm, which will make it easy to drive and turn in tight spaces. The Citroen C3 Aircross has a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox transmission. This powerful car is based on the CMP modular platform.
