New Delhi: Honda Cars India is set to begin sales of its new SUV, the Elevate, in the coming months. The company will enter the mid-size SUV segment with this vehicle. Honda has already confirmed that the new SUV will be available with two gearbox options: a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT automatic, along with a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine. Additionally, the company plans to launch its electric version of the SUV in the market within the next three years. According to some reports, Honda may announce the prices of the SUV in September, just before the festive season. This information was revealed during a dealer meeting where Honda disclosed the tentative pricing and launch timeline for its SUV.

Price and Variants:
The Honda Elevate is expected to come in four variants, with an ex-showroom price ranging from INR 11 lakh to INR 22 lakh. This means that its prices will be similar to those of its competitors. Its main rivals include the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. The Hyundai Creta has an ex-showroom price ranging from INR 10.87 lakh to INR 19.20 lakh, while the Kia Seltos has an ex-showroom price of up to INR 10.89 lakh, and the Grand Vitara has an ex-showroom price ranging from INR 10.70 lakh to INR 19.79 lakh.

Booking to Start on July 3:

It will also come equipped with Honda Sensing ADAS Suite, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, collision mitigation braking system, and high-beam assist.

Competition with the Creta:
This SUV will compete with the Hyundai Creta, which offers both diesel and petrol engine options and a choice between automatic and manual transmissions.
