Following the release of the X3 M Sport Shadow Edition, BMW has introduced the 220i M Sport Shadow Edition. This new edition of the 220i is available in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of Rs 46.90 lakh, making it Rs 3 lakh more expensive than the standard model. BMW has announced that this limited-run model will be produced at their Chennai plant, with bookings exclusively available through the BMW online shop starting May 23, 2024.

New Enhancements By BMW
The 220i M Sport Shadow Edition boasts several cosmetic enhancements, including blacked-out elements on the exterior. It features a blacked-out kidney grille, darkened inlays within the adaptive LED headlights, a black boot-lip spoiler, and floating BMW hub caps for the wheels. The special edition comes in two exterior colors: Alpine White and Skyscraper Grey. Like the standard 2 Series M Sport, the Shadow Edition includes the M Sport package, which adds M badging on the side gills, the M Aerodynamics package, and M badging on the key with black inserts.
Inside, the Shadow Edition is equipped with sports seats in the front row, complete with electric adjustment and memory function, and exclusive Illuminated Berlin interior trim. It also features a carbon-finish gear selector and ambient lighting with six color options. The upholstery choices include black and oyster combinations.
In terms of features, the Shadow Edition includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, Parking Assist with a rearview camera, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, and more. Safety features encompass six airbags, attentive assistance, dynamic stability control (DSC), and additional systems.
The BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that delivers 177 bhp and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
