BMW Motorrad has embraced the opportunity of letting India gain another off roader the F450 GS. BMW recently revealed the possible time line of the new BMW F450Gs launch. The brand uploaded an Image Carousel. The caption read how the 450gs could possibly make it to India by the end of the year. Its possible that the bike might be launched by the end of year. Possibly at EICMA.
The deliveries of the bike would begin soon in the 2026.
BMW F 450 GS Design
F450 GS was previously showcased at the Eicma 2024, although the bike was a concept. The bikes design has been heavily influenced by the bigger 1300 gs that is also a art of the BMW’s over all bike collection.
Engine
The New BMW off road would be powered by a 450cc parallel twin motor with 48 ps of power. While these specs might not seem like much it has also become apparent that the bike would only weigh 175 Kg. Such a weight for an off-roader would definitely help the vehicle gain formidable off-roading prowess. The Parallel twin engine would help the vehicle gain a power increase that would help its perform better.
New Suspension and Features
The GS motorcycle would be equipped with a long travel suspension which would help it tackle the most adventurous off-roading trails with ease. The Bike would have a 19 inch front wheel along with a 17 inch rear wheel. As per the images that have been doing rounds over the internet the ground clearance of the bike would be enough to glide over any impediment that might befall along your route. Beyond the expected launch date no specific technical detail has been revealed.
The bike would be a perfect update above the recent G310 Rs that is currently on sale in India.
Performance Specs Of The BMW G310 R
The Bike would be powered by a 34 HP single cylinder engine with a max torque out put of around 7,500 rpm. Beyond that the bike had 41 mm upside down forks at front and 4 piston foxed caliper brakes on both the ends. The bike would have Ride By Wire electric throttle with a full steel exhaust and adjustable clutch levers. The 450 cc update would definitely be a profound upgrade over the recent bikes.
