BMW To Use Exhaust Fumes To Help The Bike Corner Well! New Innovation From BMW Disclosed

In the previous leak we had witnessed that BMW was focusing on new aerodynamic updates- More Details Below-

BMW’s Research and Development department has been hard at work on developing ideas and innovations that would help their machines be faster around the track. As per a few recent leaks about the possible new innovations to help their bikes be the fastest BMW would be using the exhaust fumes to corner better? In the previous leak we had witnessed that BMW was focusing on new aerodynamic updates that would allow the bike corner better with aerodynamic advantage.

But the latest one surpasses the older one in technological advancement, as per the recent reports it has become apparent that BMW would be using an Electronic Actuator , to direct exhaust gasses out of one end of the bike to help the bike corner better. In laymen terms BMW would be using the exhaust gasses to help the bike corner better. The concept would use the back pressure of the exhaust as a jet to help push the bike into the corner more directly to help it gain traction and corner well with higher speeds.

How Would The System Work

For the system to work the bike’s exhaust would be connected to a transfer duct that runs into a barrel shaped chamber. The barrel further has components that allow the bike to control its exhaust tune. The main component of the system is a valve that can easily regulate and rotate by a few degrees left or right to to align with either a left chamber or a right chamber to direct the air flow of the exhaust towards the coroner corresponding side.

BMW New Innovation- As reported by Motor Cycle News- Australia

The valve is the most important component of the whole system; it allows the bike to direct its exhaust fumes left or right to help the bike corner well. The valve activates and angles itself as per the information it receives from a imu style tilt sensor. The sensor allows the valve to calibrate itself accordingly and direct exhaust fumes as per the necessity.

The valve moves as per the bikes direction and momentum and hence the exhaust gas. The bike also has a usual route through which the exhaust gasses can exit through the middle usual route.

A team of technicians from the BMW Is already very familiar with exhaust gas use to help diffusers increase the downforce of the bike, so the motorcycle system could be an attempt to do something similar.  While there have been laws regarding the variable length of the exhaust no result has been shared about having a valve in the system. Since the valve does not constitute a part of the body work.

While this system might not allow the bike to be able to merit from the feature excessively the feature could be used to accelerate the air flow  underneath the fairing. This would be the palace between the bike’s fainting as well as the belly pans. The diffuser styled shaped would further improve the overall downforce of the bike.
