In 2023, India recorded a significant jump in the sales of electric vehicles (EVs). The total EV sales increased from 1.02 million in 2022 to 1.53 million in 2023, a whopping 50% year-on-year jump in sales. According to a report, the sale of EVs in India is expected to increase by 35% during 2023-2032. The annual sales volume is expected to reach 27.2 million units by 2032.
