Refreshing its NS lineup, Bajaj has updated the Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200 and along with the two, the two-wheeler manufacturer recently launched the Pulsar NS125. With a price tag of Rs 1,04,922, the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is Rs 5,351 more expensive than the previous model, which retailed at Rs 99,571 (both ex-showroom Delhi). Bajaj has introduced a few updates for its smallest baby.

In this article, you will find out what the new bike has to offer and also have a look at the motorcycle’s specifications, features and more. Let’s delve deeper and explore whether the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 can emerge as a true game-changer in the budget motorcycle segment.

A familiar silhouette but a sharper look

Talking about its looks, the new Bajaj Pulsar retains its sleek and muscular design. The fuel tank, fascia as well as the side panels remain the same. However, the internal elements of the headlight have received an update. Furthermore, the thunder-shaped LED DRLs come with low and high beam setup in between.

Engine specs remain unchanged

As far as the engine is concerned, the new Pulsar NS125 draws its juice from the same 125cc single-cylinder motor capable of churning out maximum power of 11.8bhp and a peak torque of 11Nm. The powermill is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

Feature spotlight

One of the striking features of the new NS125 is the digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity. The motorcycle also gets a USB port and ABS. It features front forks and a monoshock, while the braking duties are taken care of by a single front disc and a drum rear brake. The new Bajaj Pulsar NS125 rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels.

Revamped headlight

Revised instrument cluster

A new fully digital instrument console now replaced the old semi-digital unit. The screen of the 2024 Pulsar NS125 features rev counter, trip metre, odometer, and fuel level readout. Additionally, it also supports smartphone connectivity, which allows access to call and SMS notifications and also shows the battery level.

New price tag

The upgrade has resulted in a price increase of around Rs 5,000 over the previous model and the new Bajaj Pulsar NS125 now costs Rs 1,04,922 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Is NS125 a game-changer in the budget motorcycle segment?

The Pulsar NS125 has entered the ring and is ready to take on its arch rivals, the TVS Raider 125 and the Hero Xtreme 125R. By offering a list of impressive features with the Pulsar NS125, Bajaj aims to carve a distinct niche in the market. What makes NS125 a strong contender in the budget motorcycle segment is the blend of style, performance and affordability.
