‘Zombies’ In Japan Bullet Train: The ‘Living Dead’ Give Spine-Chilling Experience To Passengers | WATCH VIDEO

The experience was given a realistic effect of the zombie apocalypse with the use of props such as blood, chainsaws, and guns. The zombie theme was inspired by the South Korean hit movie 'Train To Busan' (2016).

Imagine the lights flickering, a chilling moan filling the air and suddenly you encounter Zombies on a train. What a spine-chilling experience! Halloween is celebrated annually on October 31. In Japan, people recently had the chance to experience this haunting scenario on a regularly scheduled bullet train.

Yes, Japan marked the beginning of Halloween with a thrilling twist – zombies storming the bullet train. On October 19, Kowagarasetai organised a train ride from Tokyo to Shin-Osaka Station in collaboration with the train authorities. According to media reports, the event was joined by almost 40 trainees who prepared for battle with the ‘living dead’.

Zombies On Board Wreak Havoc On The Train

Just as the ride began, some planned actors started jerking in agony and morphing into zombies in one chartered car of the Shinkansen. The experience was given a realistic effect of the zombie apocalypse with the use of props such as blood, chainsaws, and guns. The passengers on board applauded the show, and one traveler, Joshua Payne while speaking to Agence France-Presse (AFP), recounted, “I felt like I was in the film, just sitting here watching it take place in front of me.”

A Perfect Balance Of Thrills And Entertainment

The high-speed railway in Japan, marked its 60th anniversary this year. The two-hour journey was not just a zombie flick, as Zombie cheerleaders, magicians, and comedians added a perfectly balanced lighter moment to the experience.

Expensive But Worth Every Penny

Experiences like this do not come cheap; tickets for the zombie train ride were set at 50,000 yen ($335) for the two-hour journey. Most of the passengers said that the price was worth paying for the entertainment value it brought to their ride.

Are Zombies Real?

Zombies aren’t real. These creative concepts of zombies may be exciting and entertaining but the facts do not exist to support the theory of zombies’ existence in reality.
