World with with different countries and each country with a different leader is moving in time with certain kind of development. There are different countries dealing with different issues. In the year 2024, many countries saw a change in their country. But there are several countries which witnessed a political crisis which disturbed the stability of that country.
Political Crisis In Bangladesh
Political crisis has shaken Bangladesh in 2024. A student led-protest in Bangladesh has made Sheikh Hasina resign from the post of Prime Minister. Students protested on the streets for several weeks to remove Sheikh Hasina from the post of PM. Following this Sheikh Haina resigned from the post of Prime Minister and fled from the country on August 5. Army Chief, Waqar-Uz-Zaman made an announcement regarding formation of interim government in Bangladesh.
After this interim government in Bangladesh was formed and Muhammad Yunus was appointed as the Chief Advisor to it.
Recently, Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus mentioned that the general election is likely to take place in Bangladesh in late next year or early 2026 as per media reports.
Political Crisis In South Korea
Recently South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol, voted to be impeached by the members of the parliament on December 14, 2024. This process got started after the Yoon Suk Yeol failed attempt to impose martial law. 85 Lawmakers had voted against the motion and eight invalid votes were done out of 300 lawmakers.
The implementation of Martial Law for a short period of time by Yoon Suk Yeol had shocked the entire South Korea. Just few weeks after this process, On Friday, December 27, 192 lawmakers out of 300 lawmakers voted to impeach the acting president Han Duck Soo. Han has been the acting President of South Korea after Yoon Suk Yeol was impeached on December 14. The immediate process of impeachment in the nation has disturbed it’s stability.

Political Crisis In Syria
Syria saw a major shift after the rebels overthrew the Bashar Al Assad’s regime. In the first week of December the militants carried out a attack on the Bashar Al Assad’s forces.
The government collapsed in Syria after the rebels entered Damascus, making Assad leave the country. This ends his over two decade control on the Country.
After Assad left the country the group Hyat Tahrir Al-Sham seized the control of the Damascus. As per media reports, the Indian Government evacuated 75 Indians from Syria after the fall of Assad’s government. This ends over 50 years rule of the family in Syria.
Political Crisis In France
The lawmakers in France has passed the no-confidence motion against the government in France on December 4. This pushed the largest economy of the European Union into the crisis.
331 lawmakers in France voted to support the no-confidence motion against the PM Michael Barnier. This leads to the resignation of PM Michael Barnier and his cabinet.
Michael became the shortest serving PM as he got appointed for the post of Prime Minister on September, 2024.
The members from the National Assembly expressed dissatisfaction with the Michael’s use of the powers to sidestep parliamentary approval for the budget proposals.
