A top commander in Hezbollah’s intelligence division reportedly was killed in a targeted airstrike by Israel again on Saturday in the southern suburbs of Beirut. This news comes just a day after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed.
Who Was Hassan Khalil Yassin?
According to IDF, Hassan Khalil Yassin headed a unit responsible for several tasks which included identifying Israeli military and civilian sites to be attacked. Fighter jets attacked a site in Dahiyeh killing Yassin, reports added.

The media reports stated that Yassin was involved closely with Hezbollah’s rocket, missile, and drone units. He was personally involved in terror plots targeting civilians and soldiers since the start of the conflict and was planning further attacks in the days ahead.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Vows To Avenge Nasrallah & Hezbollah
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah ‘will not go unavenged.’ Khamenei ordered five days of mourning in Iran, calling the death of Nasrallah a ‘martyrdom of the great Nasrallah.’ He emphasized that Nasrallah represented a path and a school of thought that would continue.
