Kalpesh Mehta, the founder of Tribeca Developers, is in the United States to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration as President. He is the licensed Indian partner for Trump Towers projects and has been involved with the Trump Organization in India for over 13 years.
Mehta recently shared photos on Instagram with Donald Trump, Trump Jr., and Eric Trump. He mentioned, “Had a great day discussing the new Trump India projects with Eric Trump at the stunning Mar-a-Lago club. Deal announcements coming soon!” This week, Mehta met Eric Trump at the prestigious Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida, where they discussed upcoming projects.
The inauguration celebrations began on January 18 with a special event at Trump National Golf Course in Virginia, followed by a Victory Rally and an exclusive candlelight dinner. The main event, Trump’s swearing-in ceremony, will take place on January 20, followed by an official ball.
Mehta is part of a friends and family group invited to the inauguration, which includes other Trump partners from around the world. He is known to have a close relationship with the Trump family, having attended the Wharton School alongside Donald Trump Jr. Currently, India has four Trump Tower properties located in Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, and Kolkata.
These cover about 3.5 million square feet. With six new projects planned for cities like Noida and Bengaluru, India will soon have the highest number of Trump Towers outside the United States.
In an interview last November, Mehta shared his connection to Donald Trump Jr., saying, “I was studying in the US at the Wharton School of Finance. Trump Jr was junior to me in college.” This strong partnership between Tribeca and the Trump Organization is expected to lead to more luxury real estate developments in India.
