Imran Khan’s sons express fear for their father’s well-being, alleging that authorities at Adiala Jail are hiding critical details amid concerns about his physical and mental health. Here's what he 'fears'

Imran Khan death rumours: Imran Khan’s son, Kasim Khan, accused the authorities at Adiala Jail of doing “something irreversible” to his father on Monday. His statement comes amid ongoing speculation and concerns about the former Prime Minister’s physical and mental health while in custody.

Kasim Khan accused the authorities at Adiala Jail on Monday of doing “something irreversible” to his father amid ongoing speculation about the former Prime Minister’s physical and mental health in custody. In an interview with Reuters, Kasim revealed that his family has no direct or verifiable contact with Imran Khan, despite a court order allowing weekly meetings. He added that the family has no confirmed information about his father’s condition.

What Kasim Khan doubt

Is our father Imran Khan alive or not? Now, fear has begun to grip us, as something has happened in the death cell that is being hidden. This question has been raised by Imran Khan's two sons, Kasim and Suleman. The remarks come as the PTI and Imran’s sisters have protested and staged sit-ins outside Adiala jail, where he is imprisoned, after being barred from meeting him for over three weeks.

Speaking to Reuters, he said, “Not knowing whether your father is safe, injured or even alive is a form of psychological torture,” he said in written remarks, adding that there had been no independently confirmed communication for a couple of months.

“Today we have no verifiable information at all about his condition,” he added. “Our greatest fear is that something irreversible is being hidden from us.”

“This isolation is intentional,” Kasim said, referring to the authorities he believes are keeping his father cut off. “They are scared of him. He is Pakistan’s most popular leader, and they know they cannot defeat him democratically.” He continued.

Kasim and his older brother Suleiman Isa Khan, who live in London with their mother, Jemima Goldsmith, have kept a distance from Pakistan’s politics.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan’s ex-wife, Jemima, responded to an interview conducted by Mehdi Hasan of Zeteo with Defence Minister Khawaja Asif. In the interview, Khawaja Asif stated that Imran Khan’s sons would be allowed to meet their father.

“They’re not even allowed to speak to him on the phone. No one is,” she posted

What Jail authorities said
