United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday sent a strong message to Iran, demanding an “unconditional surrender”. Amid the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, President Trump, in a series of posts on Truth Social, warned that their “patience is wearing thin.” He firmly stated that he doesn’t want attack on civilians or American soldiers during the ongoing exchange of strikes. Notably, Trump earlier claimed that he could bring peace between Israel and Iran through a deal, similar to what he did in the past between India and Pakistan. He asserted that Israel and Iran should make a deal and they will make it.
Trump Warns Iran
In recent posts on Truth Social, Trump highlighted that he knows Iran’s Supreme leader Ali Khamenei’s whereabouts. He stated that he is an easy target, but added that the US is not going to kill him at least for now.
Trump wrote, “We know exactly where the so-called “Supreme Leader” is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
In another post, Trump said that Iran’s defense equipment don’t have an edge over the American-made weapons. Furthermore, Trump has been vocal in his support for Israel emphasising that Iran should not be allowed to develop Nuclear weapons.
“We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran,” Trump wrote on his social media ‘Truth Social’.”Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American-made, conceived, and manufactured ‘stuff.’ Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA,” Trump added.
Notably, the tensions between Israel and Iran have escalated since Friday, after IDF launched a series of airstrikes on Iranian military and nuclear targets. This attack prompted retaliatory attacks from Tehran.
