New Delhi: USA has tightened the security outside Indian Embassy in Washington DC as Khalistni elements planned an anti-India protest.

The attacks from Sikh separatists have increased in USA, United Kingdom and Canada, threatening life of Indian-origin population living in these countries. Earlier last month, an attack was made on Indian consulate in San Francisco, which was later shared on internet as a sign of warning to India.
In July, the Khalistani groups announced a ‘Kill India’ protest rally in US that was inetended to gather fund in the name of slained terrorist Hardeep Singh Niijar. Following which, the law enforcement immediately provided security to Indian diplomats.
Nijjar was most wanted in India and the union government here had also announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh for the man. He was shot outside a Gurudwara in Canada in June.
The pro-Khalistani protests are on rise outside India despite the latter urging respective countries to ban such elements that threatens its diaspora across the world.
