After the missile strike, Boudaya, who is reportedly sympathetic to Hezbollah, assured his followers on social media platform X that he was safe. He expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank God, I am fine, thanks to God and His blessings upon us.” Boudaya reaffirmed his commitment to his work, calling it his “media duty in support of the resistance.”
Rising Tensions Between Israel and Hezbollah
The incident occurred against the backdrop of increasing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah. Since the Gaza war erupted in October, cross-border clashes between the two have intensified. The conflict has escalated in recent days with more frequent exchanges of fire.
