In the aftermath of the Bondi Beach massacre, a new video has taken the internet by storm, recorded on a dash camera of a car that was passing by Bondi Beach when the mass shooting took place. The video clearly showcases how an old couple courageously tried to ward off the gunman on the sidewalk.
In the video, an elderly man in shorts and a lavender T-shirt wrestles with the attacker holding a gun in white trousers. At one point in the video, both grapple with each other, while an elderly lady stands beside a car with the door open.

The couple is being praised all over the internet for their courage and being ready to lay their lives on the line even when the assailant had a deadly firearm. As per Australian media reports, the couple has been identified as Boris and Sofia Gruman.
Another Bystander Who Stood Up Against the Attacker
Apart from the elderly couple, Ahmed Al-Ahmed, a 43-year-old fruit shop owner, was captured tackling and disarming the attacker. The attack began around 6:45 PM, when two gunmen opened fire from a footbridge, targeting the crowd. Ahmed confronted one attacker, snatched the rifle away, and was hence able to save numerous lives before being shot twice. To commemorate his efforts Prime Minister Albanese said “Ahmed al-Ahmed … took the gun off that perpetrator at great risk to himself and suffered serious injury as a result of that and is currently going through operations today in hospital,” Anthony
The Deadly Attempt by Father-Son Duo
The father-and-son duo were behind the shooting at the Australian beach. The suspect, Sajid Akram, 50, was shot dead by the police during the attack. His son, Naved Akram, 24, who as per authorities was also involved in the shooting, survived and is being treated in hospital under police guard. Sadly, the couple who tried to stop the shooters from attacking could not survive the attack.
