A disturbing video of an Indian student has taken the internet by storm. The shocking clip features the youth being handcuffed and pinned to the ground by American authorities at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. According to reports, the student was held by at least four officials, while two of them had their knees on his back. His hands and legs were tied, and he was later deported.
The video, first shared by Indian-American entrepreneur Kunal Jain on X on the 8th of June, has triggered widespread outrage on social media. Mr. Jain tagged the Indian Embassy and wrote, “I witnessed a young Indian student being deported from Newark Airport last night— handcuffed, crying, treated like a criminal. He came chasing dreams, not causing harm. As an NRI, I felt helpless and heartbroken. This is a human tragedy.”

Indian Student Was Yelling – “Mai Pagal Nahi Hu”
Mr Jain, who witnessed the incident, told NDTV that he had never seen such treatment even with terrorists. Addressing the incident, Mr. Jain told NDTV that there were around 50 people present, but nobody dared to say anything. The authorities pinned him to the ground because he was a little violent.
NDTV quoted him as saying, “The authorities were saying that they did not understand Hindi, and he was speaking in a Haryanvi language. I thought probably I can help out. I went there, asked a police officer if I could help them understand what he was saying. But he didn’t allow me to do so.” The witness added, the Indian student was crying, “Mai pagal nahi hu, yeh mujhe pagal bana rahe hai. Mai pagal nahi hu, yeh mujhe pagal sabit kar rahe hai.”
