Pakistani MP on Thursday broke down inside the National Assembly, pleading with the government to ‘save Pakistan from India’. A viral video of the Pakistani former army officer, Tahir Iqbal, bursting into tears inside the assembly is circulating widely on social media. His emotional appeal comes a day after the Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor, targeting key terrorist sites in Pakistan to avenge the Pahalgam Terror Attack that claimed 26 innocent lives. Speaking about India’s ongoing operations, Tahir said, “God, please keep this country safe. In a trembling voice, he further stated, “Hum Majboor Hai, Gunehgar Hai.”
