Azerbaijan Airlines Plane Crash: A survivor in the Azerbaijan Airlines flight that crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan on Wednesday managed to record the terrifying moment from within the cabin. There were over 67 people on board, including 62 passengers and 5 crew members. In the latest update, the death toll has now reportedly risen to 38. The authorities have announced that a total of 32 people were rescued from the site.
Kazakhstan’s emergency ministry had previously said there were a total of 25 survivors in the ill-fated plane crash, out of which 22 were hospitalized. Footage captured by a survivor showed the aftermath of the crash, ‘the chaotic scenes’ from inside the cabin while a man attempted to exit the plane.

The shocking incident took place after the aircraft authorities reportedly requested an emergency landing. The plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines has been identified as an Embraer 190 aircraft (Flight No. J2-8243). According to reports, it made an emergency landing approximately 3 km (1.8 miles) from Aktau. Video of the crash showed the aircraft plunging rapidly before busting into flames.
