Uzma Khan, sister of Imran Khan,met her brother today in Adiala Jail, Soon after the meeting, she said that Imran had confessed to being mentally and physically tortured under the instructions that were directed by Asim Munir.
After massive protests and a PTI movement officials at the Adiala Jail in Rawlapindi allowed Imran Khan’s sister to meet him.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said in a statement after Dr. Uzma’s meeting with the 73-year-old former cricketer-turned-politician that Mr. Khan has been jailed in solitary confinement and is being subjected to mental torture.
In the statement after meeting Imran, Dr. Uzma also stated that his health looks fine. In the past, a clandestine ban was placed on meeting Mr. Khan, who has been in prison since August 2023. He is being held under several cases. In the recent past, his family members were denied permission to meet the PTI founder.
Uproar in Pakistan
Upon the rejection of the meeting request and hoax rumors of the leader’s passing away in captivity, a great furore erupted in Pakistan. Several PTI members protested outside the Rawalpindi-based Adiala Jail. Adiala Jail authorities claimed that he was in good health. To ensure that the protests did not impact the daily life of citizens, the Pakistan government deployed the entire Rawalpindi police force along Adiala Road to thwart the PTI protest. The government has imposed Section 144 in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
To ensure that Imran Khan’s sister got the opportunity to meet him, PTI warned the authorities of countrywide protests if the government did not allow the meeting to go through. His sister also stated that if anything happened to Khan, those involved in harming their family would not be spared by Pakistanis.
