Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy is contesting the upcoming presidential election in Republican primaries against Donald Trump.
Ramaswamy has backed a big endorsement from the CEO of SpaceX (formerly Twitter) Elon Musk.
In the 45-minute long interview, Ramaswamy spoke with Carlson about the “void” he is trying to fill in American politics.
In the interview, Ramaswamy was seen arguing about the US being at a point where the “government and the broader establishment believe that the citizens of the nation cannot be trusted with the truth.”
Post interview, the former Fox News primetime host praised Ramaswamy and said that the Republican hopeful is “one of the best-versed in policy” he has spoken with.
The rat race of US election polls
Indian Americans are giving tough competition to Donald Trump in the White House race. Other than Vivek Ramaswamy are Nikki Haley and Hirsh Vardhan Singh.
Nikki Haly, an Ex-South Carolina governor and Trump’s first ambassador to the UN, takes pride in never having lost an election.
On the other front, Hirsh Vardhan Singh has worked with New Jersey Republican party. Singh considers himself to be a ‘lifelong Repblican’, and calls him “pureblood for not taking Covid vaccine.
Ramaswamy has styled his politics on the agendas of the two men he hopes to take over, taking a stand against the “woke” ideology of the American left policy issue.
The 38-year-old biotech entrepreneur has come out as a breakout candidate in the GOP primaries as he challenges former US President Donald Trump and Florida governor Ron DeSantis for a Republican nomination.
