US Presidential Elections 2024: The stage is set for the general election rematch between former President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden that most of the voters do not want. Both the candidates clinched their parties’ presidential nominations on Tuesday following victory in low-profile primaries.

The results of the recent contest across Mississippi, Washington State, and Georgia was never uncertain as a Democrat, Biden, Nor Republican, Trump faced a major opposition. While the intensity of their win facilitated them each delegate with majority needed to claim party’s nomination.
Now the picture of the upcoming elections is clear that the two most unpopular presidents will contest the elections. Biden – age 81 holds the record of being the oldest president in United States history, while on the other hand Trump, aged 77, is currently facing legal challenges with the possibility of significant prison time due to four criminal cases that are pending against him.

During an interview, President Joe Biden expressed gratitude for the nomination while portraying Trump as a grave threat to democracy.
He said that Trump’s campaign is characterized by resentment, revenge, and retribution, which posed a serious risk to the fundamental principles of US.
