Washington: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has raided the home of former US President Donald Trump. In a statement, Donald Trump said that the FBI raided his residence at Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida on Monday.

Giving more details of the action taken by the FBI, Donald Trump said that his home in Palm Beach, Florida, Mar-a-Lago is currently being occupied by the FBI. A large number of FBI officials are present there.

Reason for FBI action unclear

However, so far no reason has been given for the raiding action taken by the FBI. Donald Trump declined to explain the reasons behind the FBI raid.

However, he has confirmed that his house was suddenly raided by the FBI. Donald Trump called the FBI raid a witch hunt and said it was a “difficult time” for America.

“This has never happened to any President of the USA before. Despite working and cooperating with relevant government agencies, this unannounced raid on my house is not justified. This raid is a misuse of the justice system. This is an attack by the radical left democrats, they don’t want me to run for President in 2024,” he said.
