Brown University Shooting: In a new video timeline released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Brown University shooting suspect can be seen recceing the surroundings before the attack. Along with the footage, the authorities in the United States have also posted a slightly clearer image of the ‘person of interest’.
So far, the investigators have not made any significant progress in identifying the real gunman. The manhunt for the shooter involved in Saturday’s attack reignited after authorities released a person who was previously detained in the case.
New timeline video shows suspect strolling the streets
Surveillance footage shared by FBI director Kash Patel showed a man dressed in dark clothes strolling across the pavements for nearly an hour. The streets were located near the Brown University engineering building, where the shooting took place that day.

FBI offers $50,000 reward for information leading to suspect
The FBI has offered a $50,000 reward for providing information to help track the suspected shooter. Meanwhile, investigators are conducting a thorough search at homes, yards, and dumpsters across Providence to find important clues. Efforts are underway to arrest the suspect responsible for Saturday’s campus attack, which claimed two students’ lives and injured nine others.
“The @FBI, in coordination with the @ProvidenceRIPD and @RIStatePolice, is releasing a video timeline showing the movements of a person of interest in the 12/13 shooting at Brown University. The FBl is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual responsible,” FBI Director Kash Patel wrote in a post on X.
Enhanced video zoomed in to show suspect’s clear image
In an enhanced video, the Providence Police have zoomed in to show the suspected gunman’s face as clearly as possible. “We are releasing an enhanced video of the person of interest in the Brown University incident. Footage was captured on the East Side of Providence on Saturday afternoon before the incident,” the department said.
