Despite legal setbacks and electoral defeat, Donald Trump still holds significant sway among some Americans, as shown by a recent family dispute triggered by a seemingly innocent laugh during a discussion about him.
In a weird moment, a man was “laughing and chuckling in shock” while discussing Donald Trump with his father. He had no idea that his drunk dad thought he was mocking Trump and picked loyalty to the former president over his son and grandchildren.
A bullet grazed off the right ear of Donald Trump during a campaign rally. The FBI identified the suspected shooter in the attempted assassination Saturday as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
A Redditor who had just arrived home from town told his dad about the incident, and he said he had seen it. Of course, he was laughing and chuckling out of shock. He added that his father, drunk by then, misinterpreted his reaction to mean that he was laughing at his leader.

“The user recalled that it escalated to his father saying he was at his house and on his property,” he wrote.
“He explained he was not laughing about ‘his [father] Trump’. He said, even explaining that ‘I wasn’t in no laughing mood about it like that, as I was shook about the news,’ his dad didn’t listen to him.”.

He posted on Reddit explaining that he actually had paid to live at his father’s place. “I want it known that I paid to stay here, and that men and women fought and died so I can believe what I want to believe,” he wrote.
He continued saying, “So finally, next, [the father] assaulted me and threatened me with a weapon, ordering me never to return to his property.”
He wrote that he and his kids are now in a hotel, “trying to figure out the next moves in our lives.”
“We only went there for a visit because I was homeless in the first place. He chose love for Trump over the son and grandkids. Then refused to meet me man to man. Then he tried to reach for a weapon. Is this what our country has become?” the Redditor wondered.
Several other responses to his post were from people telling him to call the police. “You pay rent there. That means he can’t kick you out. He has to evict you. And he threatened you. Call the cops,” one user put clear.
