Tragic Helicopter Crash In Nepal’s Nuwakot; 5 Fatalities

The helicopter was carrying five people: three passengers, one foreign national, and the pilot.

An Air Dynasty helicopter has crashed in Nepal’s Nuwakot, specifically in the Shivpuri district, on Wednesday. The incident resulted in the death of at least five people.

According to local media reports, the helicopter was en route to Rasuwa from Kathmandu when it crashed into a hill at Surya Chaur-7 in Nuwakot district. Upon receiving information about the crash, authorities immediately sent a rescue team to the site. The helicopter was carrying five people: three passengers, one foreign national, and the pilot.

Citing sources at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the local media reported that the helicopter departed Kathmandu at 1:54 PM. It lost contact with authorities three minutes after takeoff, shortly after reaching Surya Chaur.

This incident occurred just a few weeks after a Saurya Airlines plane crashed shortly after taking off from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. Of the 19 people on board, only the pilot survived, while the remaining 18 passengers were killed instantly.
