“…she comes on there with that beautiful face and those lips that don’t stop—op-op-op, like a little machine gun.” This is what US President Donald Trump said about his 28-year-old White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt. Strangely, the remark came during a speech on his administration’s economic achievements at a rally in Pennsylvania. While outlining America’s progress, Trump veered off-topic and began commenting on the beauty, appearance, and confidence of his press secretary.
What exactly happened?
US President Donald Trump arrived in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, December 9, where he was scheduled to promote his economic agenda from the stage. This was a significant occasion because just the day before, he had announced $12 billion in relief for American farmers. The entire American public was listening to their president’s speech. But here, Trump’s tongue slipped once again.
Trump asked, “Is Carolyn great?”
“We even brought our superstar today, Karoline. Isn’t she great? Is Karoline great?” he asked a cheering crowd. He then went on to laud the physical appearance and confidence of Leavitt, who is more than 50 years his junior. Then Trump praised Levitt’s physical appearance and confidence. “You know, when she goes on television, Fox, I mean, they dominate, they dominate… when she comes on there with that beautiful face and those lips that don’t stop—op-op-op, like a little machine gun.” Trump said, making bizarre sound effects.
Trump praised Karoline Leavitt: ‘When she goes on FOX, she dominates her lips go bop bop bop like a little machine gun, and she fears nothing because we have the right policy.’ pic.twitter.com/3rzHAWBAdP

Trump about Karoline Leavitt
“I don’t think anybody has ever had a better press secretary than Karoline,” he added. “She’s got no fear… because we have the right policy. We don’t have men in women’s sports … we don’t have to sell transgender to everybody, and we don’t have to sell open borders where the whole world is allowed to come into our country from prisons and everywhere else, so she’s got a little bit easier job. I wouldn’t want to be the other side’s press secretary,” he added.
The Republican leader had made similar comments about her during an August interview with Newsmax.
