Taliban unveils ‘Greater Afghanistan’ map, claims pakistani territory and vows to raise flag in Lahore

Afghanistan’s Taliban government has unveiled a new “Greater Afghanistan” map claiming parts of Pakistan, escalating tensions over the disputed Durand Line

Amid rising tensions with Pakistan, Afghanistan has unveiled a new map of “Greater Afghanistan,” which showcases areas of Pakistan as part of Afghanistan. Even before unveiling the new map, the Taliban had consistently disregarded the Durand Line – the official border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. This has been one of the main reasons behind the recent clashes between the two sides.
