New Delhi: Imran Khan has gotten a big relief from the Supreme Court. He has been granted bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case. The Islamabad High Court today granted bail to Imran Khan for two weeks. On Friday, the Islamabad High Court granted him bail with certain conditions. However, a team of Punjab Police and Rangers is standing outside the High Court to arrest Khan in four other cases. The police have a warrant.

Earlier, the Islamabad High Court gave a big relief to Imran Khan by imposing a stay on the Toshakhana case. The court has stayed the hearing of the case in the lower court. He was released yesterday on the orders of the Supreme Court after his arrest in the Al Qadir Trust case. After the order of the High Court, there will be no hearing of the Toshakhana case in the lower court. Shahbaz Sharif’s statement has come on the relief given to Imran Khan by the Supreme Court.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the Supreme Court has become a wall for Imran Khan.

Imran Khan was arrested on May 9 in the biometric room of the Islamabad High Court by paramilitary forces on a warrant from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). Khan was arrested in the Al Qadir Trust scam. The government alleges that it is a scam of 60 billion Pakistani rupees. After the arrest of Imran Khan, supporters demonstrated across the country. During this time, arson and vandalism were committed in many places, including government offices and army offices. Eight people were killed and more than 300 were injured in the clash with the security forces.
