Musharraf was born in Delhi

Former President of Pakistan and Army Chief Pervez Musharraf was born on 11 August 1943 in Daryaganj area of Delhi. A few days before the partition of India in 1947, his entire family decided to move to Pakistan. His father worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Government of Pakistan.
