New Delhi: A luxury Bentley car worth more than $300,000 was stolen from London several weeks ago has now been found parked in posh locality of Pakistan’s Karachi on Saturday.
Reports from Pakistan local media suggest that the raids by the Collectorate of Customs Enforcement (CCE) were held based on information provided by the UK intelligence agency.
After receiving a tip-off from the UK National Crime Agency that the stolen Bentley Mulsanne sedan was parked in a house in the city’s DHA area, a posh residential neighborhood, CCE conducted a raid and found the car.
Pakistan daily Business recorder reports that, “the British intelligence agency sent credible information to the CCE, Karachi that a grey Bentley Mulsanne, V8 Automatic, VIN number SCBBA63Y7FC001375, engine number CKB304693, which was stolen from London, is parked in DHA, Karachi.”

In response, during the physical search, the team of CCE recovered the vehicle which was found parked inside the car porch of the house.
A Pakistani journalist shared the photo of the FIR filed by customs officials. The document mentions that approximately Rs 300 million was evaded due to the smuggling of the stolen vehicle.

During the interrogation, the owner disclosed that the vehicle was sold to him by another person, who introduced himself as a broker and is still an absconder.
