Smoke started billowing from one of the tents, which was erected by the President’s supporters during anti-government protests. There is no official confirmation so far of who the attacker was and what his motive was behind the act.

Notably, Serbian government buildings have often witnessed political protests between the ruling party and the opposition, and such confrontations have become frequent in the country.
