Russia Ukraine War: Russia on Tuesday alleged that the Ukraine has launched three drones towards Moscow and termed it as “terrorist attack”, reported CNN.
The Russian Ministry of Defence reported that on the night of 1st August, the Kyiv regime attempted a terrorist attack using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against facilities in Moscow, but the attack was foiled.
Three drones were shot down, with two Ukrainian UAVs destroyed over the Odintsovo and Narofominsk districts of Moscow region. The third drone lost control and crashed into a non-residential buildings complex in Moscow, hitting the same building targeted in previous Ukrainian drone strikes.

The Kremlin perceives an “obvious threat” following the latest drone strike on Moscow, as stated by Russian Presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. Measures are being taken to address the threat, but specific actions were not disclosed.
Ukrainian Presidential Adviser Mykhailo Podolyak commented that the drone attacks on Moscow indicate that the city is becoming accustomed to a full-fledged war. He suggested that the consequences of the war would extend to those responsible for initiating it.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had earlier warned that the war is gradually returning to Russia, emphasizing that Ukraine is growing stronger despite Russian aggression. He mentioned the collapse of Russian aggression on the battlefield and expressed confidence in Ukraine’s resilience.
On Sunday, Russia reported bringing down three Ukrainian drones attempting to attack Moscow, marking the second reported attack within a week. A business and shopping development in Moscow’s west was hit, resulting in damage to the fifth and sixth floors of a 50-storey building, but no casualties were reported.
The situation adds to the existing tensions between Ukraine and Russia. It reflects the ongoing conflict between the two nations and raises concerns about further escalations in the region.
