The case is related to a protest held outside Adiala Jail. PTI leaders said the protest happened after authorities did not allow family members and lawyers to meet Imran Khan, who is currently in jail.

Police said that violence took place during the protest and that public property was damaged. They added that more than 50 people have been named in the case, which has been sent to an anti-terrorism court.

PTI has rejected the police claims and called the case political revenge. The party has also asked the international community to take notice of the situation.
