A Pakistan Super League (PSL) cricket match was scheduled to take place on May 8. Now, the match venue has reportedly been shifted to Karachi. The match between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings was supposed to take place at the stadium, now the venue has been changed.

According to social media reports, a drone crashed near the stadium, damaging a restaurant building. Several visuals of the incident have been widely circulated on social media.
Earlier, multiple drone explosions took place in Lahore and Karachi. As per reports , three blasts took place in the Walton Road area of Lahore. Commercial flights in Lahore and Sialkot have been suspended due to security reasons.
