Wagner Rebellion in Russia: After Russian President Vladimir Putin vowed to punish the rebellion Wagnar group on national television, Yevgeny Prigozhin, chief of Wagner, said that the Russian president has chosen the wrong option during his speech and that Russia would have a new president soon.
The 62-year-old leader of the mercenaries said his soldiers would smash everything which comes into their path. He warned Russians not to oppose him and join him instead. He claimed that “This is not a military coup, but a march of justice.”
Russian Military starts retaliation
As per international media, the Russian Military has started retaliation against soldiers of Wagners.
The Wagner forces claimed to have control over the military site and the entire city of Rostov-on-Don in southern Russia.
Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner mercenary group rebelled against Kremlin and vowed to topple the Russian military leadership. He accused the Russian Military of launching air strikes on Wagner persons.
