The Prime Minister’s visit to France marked a significant event as he received a ceremonial welcome upon his arrival at the airport. PM Modi was invited as the Guest of Honour by French President Emmanuel Macron to attend Bastille Day parade in Paris on April 14.
Adding to the grandeur, an Indian tri-services contingent had the honor of participating in the Bastille Day Parade, while the Indian Air Force showcased their prowess with a captivating fly-past during the occasion.
It is worth noting that PM Modi’s visit to France coincided with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of a “strategic partnership” between India and France, highlighting the enduring bond between the two nations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a lively welcome from the Indian diaspora following his arrival in Paris.
“Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”, slogans were chanted at the arrival of PM Modi. Additionally, many people were seen clicking selfies with the PM while some sang songs and presented gifts to him.
