Preparations to give a new direction to trade relations between India and the United States have intensified. In this regard, a high-level delegation led by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will visit the United States on September 22, 2025. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced this on Saturday.
The Ministry stated that the purpose of this visit is to advance the ongoing negotiations on the India-US trade agreement and to reach an early conclusion of a mutually beneficial agreement between the two countries.
According to officials, the main focus of the meetings will be on strengthening bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation in various key sectors.
The Ministry said in its statement that this visit underscores India’s commitment to further deepen its economic partnership with the United States and enhance cooperation under existing and future trade frameworks.
