BJP Leader Demands Answer From Mufti

Meanwhile, BJP leader Nalin Kohli has taken a dig at Mufti’s decision to call off her campaign. He questioned, “On which side are they standing? Are they standing on the path for peace or violence?”

Kohli further stated that Omar Abdullah and Mufti would be seen as being on a path that supports violence and not peace.

He noted, “The larger question is when violence occurred in Jammu & Kashmir and terrorism started to increase there, when there was a genocide and the Kashmiri Pandits were moved out of it. Were they in a way indirectly supporting the kind of thinking that led to violence?”
