A Palestinian has been reportedly killed by the missiles launched by Iran into Israel. The man is said to have been hit by the shrapnel of one of the missiles.
Footage released by the Israel shows a man moving around the street in West Bank village Nu’eima near Jericho and suddenly a large part of Iranian missile falls from sky, and a piece of shrapnel hits the man.
The man has been identified by the media as Sameh al-Asl, a labourer and it’s reported that he is the only man to be killed in Iranian attack. As per the reports of The Times of Israel, the deceased was 37-year-old.
“A Palestinian worker in Jericho was killed when pieces of a rocket fell from the sky and hit him,” Jericho governor Hussein Hamayel told AFP.
Palestinian media reported that the man was originally from Jabalia, Gaza and was struck in Nu’eima near Jericho. Four other Palestinians were reportedly injured by shrapnel from the same missile.
It’s not clear that why he had come to West Bank.
Iran had targeted Israel with more than 100 missiles yesterday, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had informed it through their X handle. “A short while ago, missiles were launched from Iran towards the State of Israel. Israelis are instructed to remain alert and precisely follow the Home Front Command’s instructions. In the last few minutes, the Home Front Command has distributed life-saving instructions in various areas across the country. The IDF is doing and will do everything necessary to protect the civilians of the State of Israel,” said IDF.
