Pakistan’s Punjab province state assembly speaker openly backed UN-designated terrorist and Pahalgam attack mastermind Saifullah Kasuri and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Hafiz Saeed’s son Talha Saeed during a rally. It shows how Pakistan continues to foster terror elements on its soil.
Khan shared the dais with the terrorists
Punjab State’s assembly speaker, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan shared the dais with the terrorists while terming them “valuable to Pakistan for their services”. He also described his connection with Talha Saeed’s family.
‘Have a personal connection with the place’
When Khan was asked about his presence at the gathering, he said that people from all walks of life were present, and he attended the rally after being invited, as he has a personal connection with the place, Kasur.
‘Kasuri should not be seen as an accused’
When asked about the presence of Saifullah Kasuri, mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack, Khan defended him, saying that he should not be seen as an accused without a proper investigation.
Khan came under scrutiny over his presence at the rally held on May 28. In a video clip, Talha Saeed is seen welcoming Khan on stage.
‘Pakistan must uproot the nursery of terrorism’
On May 30, Rajnath Singh India will not hesitate and will use every method to root out the menace of terrorism. He emphasised that Pakistan must uproot the nursery of terrorism operating on its soil with its own hands.
Rajnath Singh called for the handing over of terrorists like Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar to India. “Both of them are not only in India’s list of ‘Most Wanted Terrorists’, they are also UN Designated Terrorists. Tahawwur Rana, an accused in the Mumbai attacks, has been brought to India recently. Hafiz Saeed is also guilty of the Mumbai attacks, and justice must be done for his crime,” he said.
