Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is mired in a significant controversy over a leaked audio clip supposedly of an intimate chat with a woman. Pakistani journalist Syed Ali Haider revealed these audio clips, which appeared just a few months before the country’s general elections, although according to other sources, this audio came from Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Office.
According to NDTV’s report, several of Imran Khan’s claimed talks have been purportedly leaked since his resignation earlier this year, and the audio snippets that have gone viral are the latest in a series of audio clips.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan’s party, has termed the audio tape phoney and accused the government of using fake audio and video to target its opponents.

“The opponents of the PTI chairman cannot conceive beyond generating bogus audios and videos,” PTI leader Arsalan Khalid stated.
The man can be heard making vulgar comments and pressing on meeting her in an audio clip supposedly of a conversation between cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan and a woman.
The man, who resembles Pakistan’s previous Prime Minister, invites the woman to meet, but she declines. They then discuss meeting the next day, but the man says he will confirm the meeting later because his family is visiting.

A male voice can be heard saying, “I’ll see if it’s possible because my family and children are coming… I’ll try, but their visit will be delayed… I’ll tell you tomorrow…”
Although the voice in the audio samples has not been authenticated as Imran Khan’s, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan has begun to face backlash on social media.
“In the purported sex call leak, Imran Khan has become Emraan Hashmi,” tweeted Naila Inayat, a journalist and South Asian correspondent.
