Pakistani airstrike kills 30 civilians, including women and children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Airstrike in Pakistan: Photos and videos circulating on social media show the residential settlement reduced to rubble. Meanwhile, the death toll is expected to rise. 

The Pakistani military struck Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province early Monday, killing at least 30 people, including women and children. Local sources told Amu that the airstrikes targeted homes in the Tirah area, injuring dozens of people. According to reports, a rescue operation is underway to retrieve bodies trapped under the debris. Meanwhile, the death toll is expected to rise.

Pakistani officials and the military are yet to comment on the strikes carried out by the country’s JF-17 fighter jets. Photos and videos circulating on social media show the residential settlement in Matre Dara village reduced to rubble.

The Pakistani military dropped eight LS-6 precision-guided bombs in the village in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The bombardment left behind a trail of rubble and blood, creating panic and chaos among civilians.
